The presentation will explain the methodology of a Wi-Fi security assessment and discuss how this can be accomplished with the help of open source tools.

In this presentation, audiences will learn about the open source tools available to penetration testers and the situations in which they apply. The presentation will demonstrate how to conduct attacks using these tools during a Wi-Fi assessment. Some of the topics that will be covered include:

  • Bypassing inefficient security controls in a wireless environment
  • Effectively cracking WPA/WPA2 PSK
  • KRACK attacks and their impact a year later
  • Wi-Fi Automatic Association Attacks
  • Rogue Access Points on Enterprise WLANs
